Another Superb Backyard Transformation

The first step was to remove the old, weedy grass. It’s an important task even thought it can be laborious, it requires the removal of all roots of the stubborn, invasive weeds.

Next step was to prepare the ground for its fresh layer of topsoil. The earth had to be levelled, smoothed, and then enriched with a thick layer of nutrient-rich topsoil.

Adding some structure by incorporating stylish garden borders. These visually appealing boundaries will not only add structure but also beautifully define the area where the new lawn meets the garden.

Finally, with the turf underlay laid and the borders set, the stage was finally set for the star of the show – the premium Sir Walter turf.

When the fresh turf from Grech’s arrived, and as each piece of turf was carefully unrolled and laid down, a transformation began to take place.

The barren backyard was slowly being clothed in a lush, green carpet.

“Outstanding” was the word that Peter uttered when he saw the transformation taking place in his backyard. The long and tedious task of removing the old, weedy grass had paid off in spades, as the unsightly weeds were replaced by perfectly leveled and enriched soil.

The incorporation of garden borders added just the right amount of structure and elegance to the new lawn.
