Given that about 90% of the fields in Sydney have less wear than Middle Head Oval, there are no technical reasons why players should have to put up with poor fields. Since Middle Head Oval was reconstructed there have been further advancements that enable fields to handle even higher levels of wear.

They helped me identify my grass, were super competitive, tried to secure a small quantity for me, offered the services to get someone to help lay the turf.
